Escaped the in-laws for the afternoon because the reports from the beach was that it was 6.4m weather. Arrived to a slightly different picture. Gusty 8m weather. Still got powered up for a few runs to the pier and back. Squall came through just as I'd packed up which looked fun, but realistically it was a 5m squall so would have been fighting it all the way anyway. First sail from Spray Watersports - nice bunch. Not the best but better than walking round a national trust garden with the mother in law!
